Professor Dr. Luisa Maria Arvide Cambra, Spanish is now Professor with Chair at the University of Almería (Spain) and she was Assistant Professor and Associate Professor at the University of Granada from 1979 on. Forty nine years of the teaching and researching experience. Francisco Torrens is lecturer in physical chemistry at the Universitat de València. After obtaining a PhD in molecular associations in azines and macrocycles from the Universitat de València, Dr. Torrens undertook postdoctoral research with Professor Rivail at the Université de Nancy I. More recently, Dr. Torrens has collaborated on projects with Professors Tomás-Vert, Salgado and Castellano. Major research projects include prediction of the environmental impact of chemical substances using chemobioinformatics tools, discovery of new inhibitors of tyrosinase: computational design, synthesis, characterization and experimental corroboration, search for new antimicrobial agents that inhibit the synthesis of the bacterial cell wall, minimal active domains of proteins of the Bcl 2 family, development and application of quantum chemistry methods and techniques to studies of drugs, analysis of pores of BAX at nanometric scale and study of the in vivo antioxidant capacity of phenolic compounds through QSAR/QSPR modelling: crossing of the blood-brain barrier and interactions with cytochromes and drugs. His scientific accomplishments include the first implementation in a computer at the Universitat de València of a program for the elucidation of crystallographic structures and the construction of the first computational-chemistry program adapted to a vector-facility supercomputer in a Spanish university.

Dr. Lalit M. Pandey is an Associate Professor in the Department of Biosciences and Bioengineering, IIT Guwahati. He has completed his graduation in Biochemical Engineering from HBTI Kanpur and Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from IIT Delhi. His current research area includes Chemical and Biochemical engineering. He was awarded Erasmus Mundus India4EU fellowship to pursue research at Laboratoire des Matériaux et du Génie Physique (LMGP), Grenoble-INP, France for 18 months during 2010 to 2012. Prior to joining IIT Guwahati, he was working as a Scientist with the Central Pollution Control Board, Ministry of Environment & Forests, Government of India from 2009 to 2014 and was involved in research / study relating to water and air pollution in agro-based industries. Overall, he has more than ten years of teaching/ research/industrial experience. So far he has worked in the various areas of Chemical & Biochemical engineering including surface and interfacial science particularly in the area of biointerfaces and biomaterials, protein’s structure and its stability, nanocomposites for biomedical applications, and environment chemical engineering. At IIT Guwahati, he has supervised three Ph.D. students, four M.Tech. and ten B.Tech. students and currently supervising ten PhD, two M.Tech. and one B.Tech. theses.

Dr. El Hadji Seydou Mbaye was born in 1978 in Kaolack a region of Senegal. During 2008-2013, he earned his PhD in Biology and Human Pathologies with the collaboration of the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) /WHO, Lyon (France); He obtained a Master’s of Life and Health, Specialty Biology of microorganisms, Virology; a Master’s of Life and Health, option Immuno-physiopathology; a License of Biochemistry in Louis Pasteur University of Strasbourg (France); and a General Degree in Sciences and Technologies in University of METZ (France). He was certified Grade 10/10 by the FIGO, the Accreditation Council of Oncology in Europe (ACOE), the Institute Catalan of Oncology (ICO). These credits were recognized as Physician’s Recognition Award by the American Medical Association. He was certified, by the United Nations, by IARC/WHO. He has published 1 Book with a style of philosophical story. Author of the World Program against Cancer in Low and Middle Incomes Countries, he is lead author of more than 90 peer-reviewed research articles published in reputed journals. Dr. Mbaye is Editorial Board Member of 49 International Journals, and he has Edited/Reviewed 55 peer-reviewed articles. He is associate membership of the World Society for Virology (WSV), member of Allied Academies; and also, member of BCNet International Working Group, IARC/WHO. Dr. MBAYE has formed for free, more than 250 Healthcare Professionals for the techniques of cervical cancer screening in Senegal.
