Worked within the NHS for 25 years, qualifying as a Biomedical Scientist in Histopathology while working at Freeman Hospital in Newcastle in 1992.
Moved to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Gateshead in 1999 where I ran the Immunocytochemistry service as a senior member of staff and held the role of training officer for cellular pathology.
In 2011 took up role of full time Scheme Manager for UK NEQAS Cellular Pathology Technique (CPT), which is the post currently held.

Dr. Anthony Magliocco

Dr. Anthony Magliocco is the President and CEO of Protean BioDiagnostics, an innovative start up biotechnology accelerator company focused on creating and deploying advanced cancer diagnostics for community based cancer patients in the US and beyond. Previously he was Department Chair Anatomic Pathology and Executive Director of Esoteric Lab Services at Moffitt Cancer Center between 2011-2019
her has over 20 years’ experience in cancer pathology and precision oncology along with molecular diagnostics and translational cancer research. He previously directed the Morsani Molecular Laboratories at Moffitt and have overseen the development of next generation sequencing, Moffitt STAR, liquid biopsy and advanced digital image analysis into routine CLIA laboratory operations.
Subspecialty Expert in Gyne and Breast Pathology
He have extensive surgical pathology experience in Breast and Gyn Pathology leading the provincial pathology tumor boards in both Saskatchewan and Alberta for many years. Dr. Anthony Magliocco frequently retained as an expert consultant for medico-legal cases involving surgical pathology
Dr. Anthony Magliocco have focused subspecialty expertise in breast and gynecological cancer pathology but also apply my cancer biomarker knowledge to solid tumors. He also have extensive tissue banking experience and currently direct the tissue core at the Moffitt Cancer Center and direct the Molecular Pathology Training Fellowship.
Dr. Anthony Magliocco published over 300 research communications in cancer biomarker research and led research programs in molecular diagnostics, epidemiology, translational research, and clinical trials. His work has been cited over 10,000 times.
Dr. Anthony Magliocco goal is to promote transformational change in pathology via implementation of the latest advances in digital and biomedical clinical testing technology into quality patient care.
Dr. Masaru Sasaki

Masaru Sasaki is a Chief Director of Yuwakai Medical Corporation (Miyagi, Japan). He is a dentist, an oral pathologist (Board Certified Fellow & Trainer : Japanese Society of Pathology) and a cytopathologist (Board Certified Fellow & Trainer : Japanese Society of Clinical Cytology). He completed his dental school education at Tohoku University in 1986, and he trained in oral surgery, oral pathology and cytopathology at Tohoku University Hospital. He gained Ph.D. in Tohoku University in 1994 and D.Med.Sci. in Graduate School Dokkyo Medical University in 2016. In 1997 he established a dental clinic and became Chief Director of Yuwakai Medical Corporation in 2013. Besides his clinical expertise, he has been active in the areas of early detection and prevention for oral cancer. He is a key figure who promotes the construction of a screening system (Miyagi model) that allows general dentists to use liquid-based cytology to detect oral cancer early.

She has overall 18 years of professional experience.
After receiving medical degree from Seoul National University, College of Medicine, she had four years of residency training in pathology department at Seoul National University Hospital.
Dr. Brandy Gunsolus

Dr. Brandy Gunsolus received her BS degree in Chemistry from Southeastern Louisiana University, a BS degree in Clinical Laboratory Science from LSU Health Sciences Center – New Orleans, an MS degree and Doctor of Clinical Laboratory Science degree from Rutgers University. Her expertise and research interests are in clinical pathology utilization and physician/laboratory consultation. As the first Doctor of Clinical Laboratory Science (DCLS) graduate and practitioner in the United States, she has forged a new career path for laboratory scientists in partnership with pathologists establishing a system-wide pathology utilization and consultation program that has documented savings of over $1.8 million US dollars in under two years.
